Baptism 2024

We thank the Holy Spirit for working in people's hearts.
Seven persons have decided to follow Jesus and were baptized in the Ashnola River.
Listen to pastor Dwayne's message, some testimonies (more testimonies next week) and the slide show shows the baptisms.
It was followed by a picnic next to the river.

Once you have accepted the incredible invitation by God, you start your walking with the Lord.
Don't just be a good Christian. Take the responsibility and start walking with the Lord.
Look at the remnants of God's people in the Old Testament and follow their examples.

Pastor Dwayne's message gave light on these questions: What was God's purpose (or plan) with us? How has it been changed over the ages since Jesus was resurrected?
Is it easy to be a partner with God? What does that involve?

Pastor Jason Goertzen from Leading Influence was our guest speaker this week.
He introduced his colleague, Fred Hill, the chaplain for Saskatchewan's legislative assembly. https://Leadinginfluence.com
We heard some testimonies, with a lot of humor.
Pastor Jason had an encouraging word for people persevering through hard times. Also for those of us who were hurt and sit with very tense relationships.
The main message taught us how to be the Good News message by imitating Jesus.

2 Corinthians 5:18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:

The gospel of Jesus Christ is accompanied by power. It has power for miracles; power for wonderful signs from God; and best of all, it has the power to change minds, hearts, and lives.
