Glory to God - testimony by Koos Louw

Pastor Koos Louw shared a testimony of his life and ministry in Southern Africa. The Louw family sang their motto song "My total reason". His sons, Ferdi and Perold, and daughter-in-love, Marina, also shared some testimonies. Debra and her team lead the worship. We prayed and ministered to each other to see God's glory in our lives.

Joshua 24:15,18 NLT
15 ... But as for me and my family, we will serve the LORD."
18 ... So we, too, will serve the LORD, for He alone is our God."

Psalms 112:7 NLT They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the LORD to care for them.

The Big Picture

Get the bigger picture of what God is doing in this world. Pastor Dwayne helped us to to see more, starting from the evil that is happening around us to the end times. (The first minute of the recording is a bit hard to hear, but then it improves.)

Acts 1:4-8 4 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. 5 For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit." 6 So when they met together, they asked him, "Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?" 7 He said to them: "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Ephesians 3:9-11 9 and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. 10 His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, 11 according to his eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. Ephesians 1:23 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. NIV

God is faithful - by Don Price

Don Price had one message on his mind: "God loves you"; while he shared his and Cecilia's testimony of 42 years in ministry in 55 countries and God's faithfulness thru it all. During worship Terese shared the miraculous story of how Tina's life was spared in a nasty car accident. We serve a GREAT God! Listen to Don's message and be encouraged!

Daniel & Jalene arrived from Germany with their 7-week old baby, just in time for the meeting to tell us about their ministry in Israel. We watched the 3 minute "King of Kings - Gateway of Ministry" video. You can listen to the recording below, but quality might be lacking at times with all the questions from the audience.

Genesis 12:3 I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." ESV
Romans 11:11-15 11 So I ask, did they stumble in order that they might fall? By no means! Rather through their trespass salvation has come to the Gentiles, so as to make Israel jealous. 12 Now if their trespass means riches for the world, and if their failure means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full inclusion mean! 13 Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. Responsible Church

Glenda lead the worship. This week Wednesday, 2015 September 9, we expect to hear from Daniel and Jalene about their ministry to Israel. Pastor Dwayne preached about the responsibility of the church - it should apply to all churches, not only our congregation.

Ephesians 4:1 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. NIV
Ephesians 1:18-23 18 I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, 20 which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.
