James Ponak came all the way from Chilliwack to lead worship for us; and it was a fresh blessing!
If you have ever looked to your life, or family, or community or country, or planet; and thought God had slipped up and made a bit of a mess with how things went wrong, then you definitely have to listen to this message.

The song we listened to is "Days of Elijah" as lead by Judy Jacobs.

1 Timothy 2:1-4   1 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-- 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. NIV
1 John 4:8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. NIV
Matthew 22:37-40 NIV
37 Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. NIV
1 Peter 4:8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. NIV
Deuteronomy 28:1-2
1 If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. 2 All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God: NIV
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. NIV

Esther Hoogendoorn from Chilliwack came all the way to lead worship for our Sunday service. In a wonderful loving atmosphere pastor Dwayne came to defend the Name of God against many of the attacks on "a God of love" and the popular misconception that God causes harm to befall us.
Just listen to the end to get a true perspective on God's love for you.

PS: Recordings from December and January will hopefully appear here over the next month or so.  They will be announced on Facebook when it happens.

1 John 4:8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. NIV
1 John 3:8 He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work. NIV
Matthew 4:24 News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed, and he healed them. NIV
Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him. NIV
Psalms 139:1-5 NIV    1 O LORD, you have searched me and you know me. 2 You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. 3 You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. 4 Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD. 5 You hem me in-behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me.
Psalms 139:17-18 NIV    17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! 18 Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you.
