Having fellowship with one another and communion with God is so refreshing.

Pastor Dwayne Trelenberg shared around the word "remember".  You may listen at the link below.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

What is God thinking?

We celebrated Tina's graduation and she compiled the worship service. Quite a few messages were delivered during worship: God really loves you and He is faithful always; we need to respond to his calling.
Psalms 92:5 How great are Your doings, O Lord! Your thoughts are very deep.
1 Corinthians 14:20 Brothers, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults.
Matthew 5:48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
2 Peter 1:4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
Psalm 139:
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
How vast is the sum of them!

18 Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand--
when I awake, I am still with you.

Father's day with the Masters Commission

Pastor Shawn Harvey and a team from City Life Master's Commission ministered to us. Church was packed and we had an exciting time! The worship team blessed us with their love for God.  Listen to the testimonies of what God did in people's lives; and the message for fathers. We watched the video clip "The Running Father" that was made by MC students.  Afterwards we had very good fellowship (love just radiates from the Chilliwackers who visited us!) and a scrumptious meal (thanks to all who helped).

The worship team lead us into an experience of God's love and greatness.
We also listened to Beautiful by MercyMe.
The message consisted of 3 testimonies and how to get God real in your life by being an active part of the body.

Mat.11: 28-30
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

Romans 12:4-8
For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function,
so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.

Romans 12:4-8
If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

Galatians 6:2
Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ

Colossians 3:13
Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you

Proverbs 11: 25
A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.

John 13:34-35
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

Pastor Dwayne gave a demonstration with an anvil, horseshoe and horseshoe-nail. In the end only the anvil was real.  But listen for yourself ...

Jeremiah 23:29 "Is not my word like fire," declares the LORD, "and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?

1 John 4:1-3
1 My dear friends, don't believe everything you hear. Carefully weigh and examine what people tell you. Not everyone who talks about God comes from God. There are a lot of lying preachers loose in the world.
2 Here's how you test for the genuine Spirit of God. Everyone who confesses openly his faith in Jesus Christ--the Son of God, who came as an actual flesh-and-blood person--comes from God and belongs to God.
3 And everyone who refuses to confess faith in Jesus has nothing in common with God. This is the spirit of antichrist that you heard was coming. Well, here it is, sooner than we thought!

Matthew 16:18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.

Matthew 24:23-24
23 At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it.
24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect--if that were possible.

Worship:
Psalms 145:1-21

1 I will praise you, my God and King,
    and always honor your name.
2 I will praise you each day
    and always honor your name.
3 You are wonderful, Lord,
    and you deserve all praise,
because you are much greater
    than anyone can understand.
4 Each generation will announce to the next
    your wonderful
    and powerful deeds.
5 I will keep thinking about your marvelous glory
    and your mighty miracles.
6 Everyone will talk about
    your fearsome deeds,
and I will tell all nations
    how great you are.
7 They will celebrate and sing
    about your matchless mercy
    and your power to save.
8 You are merciful, Lord!
    You are kind and patient
    and always loving.
9 You are good to everyone,
    and you take care
    of all your creation.
10 All creation will thank you,
    and your loyal people
    will praise you.
11 They will tell about
    your marvelous kingdom
    and your power.
12 Then everyone will know about
    the mighty things you do
    and your glorious kingdom.
13 Your kingdom will never end,
    and you will rule forever.
Our Lord, you keep your word
    and do everything you say.
14 When someone stumbles or falls,
    you give a helping hand.
15 Everyone depends on you,
and when the time is right,
    you provide them with food.
16 By your own hand you satisfy
the desires of all who live.
17 Our Lord, everything you do
    is kind and thoughtful,
18     and you are near to everyone
    whose prayers are sincere.
19 You satisfy the desires
    of all your worshipers,
and you come to save them
    when they ask for help.
20 You take care of everyone
who loves you,
    but you destroy the wicked.
21 I will praise you, Lord,
    and everyone will respect
    your holy name forever.
