Ginger and the youth from Chilliwack led worship today. Ginger also shared her moving testimony with the congregation. Jarius Trelenberg also shared his testimony and challenged us in his message to respond to the changes God is making in our lives.

Christmas musical play

Ruth directed a Christmas musical with kids from the community. It is a humorous rendition/variation of the well known story, titled "Mary Marry Merry Christmas!" (See the video) Thanks to all who helped - it involved many people, not only our congregation. We heard some stories of how people celebrated Christmas in their youth and in different parts of the world. Afterwards George and his helpers provided a wonderful meal for 120 persons.

Church was a joy today. Young Levi treated us to a song. Pastor Dwayne's message concentrated on Jesus. It included a demonstration with a baby, and was so motivational to realize that nothing you can do can make God love you less, and nothing you can do can make God love you more! God's love is so amazing! The video clip we listened to was a spontaneous moment from WorshipU On Campus 2015. Levi blessed us by giving us some of his CDs too!

Romans 16:25-27 NLT    25 God is able to make you strong, just as the Good News says. 1 Corinthians 2:6-12 NIV    
6 We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.  9 However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"-- 10 but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. 11 The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. Building a legacy

Pastor Dwayne related more stories of the property that we bought and is now paid for. God has a purpose for it.  It is part of a legacy that will be used by future generations as a tool in God's Kingdom.
